Backhand and Forehand Volley

As Alex hits against the ball machine watch his split step between shots to be prepared for either a forehand or backhand return. Notice the short draw back to the racket and the stepping forward to add weight to the volley. When you play the left view clip notice how Alex strikes the ball with a sharp angle to absorb pace, a useful drop volley strategy to more accurately place your shot.
